铁板神数

Tiěbǎn Shénshù·Iron-Plate Divine Calculation

A family of methods encoding birth stems-branches, minute divisions, Hetu-Luoshu hexagram numbers and kin data to retrieve numbered life statements, known for calibrating the birth time.

A conceptual still life of sealed numbered drawers, sequence counters, calendrical drafts and blank oracle folios; it contains no readable prophecy, guaranteed verdict or portrait used to prove historical authorship.

01Core principles

Core principles

Translate formulas into structure: what enters, how the model is arranged, and which relations drive interpretation.

Different lineages convert birth data into base numbers, calibrate minute divisions or key codes against kin facts, then index fixed statements. Starting numbers, constants and oracle corpora are not uniform.

02Origins and historical development

Origins and historical development

Keep traditional accounts, surviving evidence and later transformations distinct.

The Iron Plate name gained prominence in Qing and modern mantic markets, often claiming Shao Yong or Chen Tuan lineages. Oracle sets were copied, expanded and paired with different keys, producing parallel systems.

03Evidence limits and research debates

Evidence limits and research debates

Mystery belongs to the unknown—not to presenting uncertainty as fact.

Reliable Song evidence of Shao Yong's authorship is absent. Claims of absolute precision or a universal corpus of 12,000 statements are promotional or edition-specific.

This dossier supports historical, textual and methodological study. Internal traditional explanations are not modern empirical validation and do not replace medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
